Artist's Description
While driving on an old dirt road in Northern Pitt County, North Carolina, I came upon this golden field of wildflowers in the middle of nowhere. It was in the middle of nowhere. With no traffic and no people in sight, I parked my car right there in the middle of the road. I couldn't miss the opportunity to take this beautiful scene with me.
About Lee Darnell
Lee is a native of and current resident of North Carolina. He's spent his life there caring for and serving others. For well over 30 years he has worked as a law enforcement officer and paramedic, including time as an administrator, educator, and government regulator. He has responded to multiple national disasters and served celebrities, Governors, and Presidents along the way. He is a SAG-AFTRA eligible working film/television actor with dozens of credits in films, shows, commercials, industrials, and theater. He says that it is hard work, but using his imagination to become someone else, lost in a different moment in time is an experience of which he simply can't get enough, very similar to his photography work.
