If you're ever out in the boonies, snaking along the Yadkin River and stop off in the historic village of Rockford in Surry County, be sure to visit the Rockford General Store. This store first opened in 1890 and remains legendary, having had only 5 owners. Stop by and you can enjoy a cold drink from the glass bottle, a fried bologna sandwich, some fresh homemade sonker, hard candy from their large selection, and can settle down to swap gossip with locals around the wood stove on cold days or out on the porch if it's nice. Welcome home.
Lee is a native of and current resident of North Carolina. He's spent his life there caring for and serving others. For well over 30 years he has worked as a law enforcement officer and paramedic, including time as an administrator, educator, and government regulator. He has responded to multiple national disasters and served celebrities, Governors, and Presidents along the way. He is a SAG-AFTRA eligible working film/television actor with dozens of credits in films, shows, commercials, industrials, and theater.
