Artist's Description

This is the grave of little Miss Gracie Watson. Gracie died of pneumonia when she was just six years old, two days before Easter in 1889 in Savannah, GA. Her parents had a local sculptor make this life-sized monument from a photo. Well over a century later, this is still arguably the most visited grave in the city, at the famous Victorian Bonaventure Cemetery.

Lee is a native of and current resident of North Carolina. He's spent his life there caring for and serving others. For well over 30 years he has worked as a law enforcement officer and paramedic, including time as an administrator, educator, and government regulator. He has responded to multiple national disasters and served celebrities, Governors, and Presidents along the way. He is a SAG-AFTRA eligible working film/television actor with dozens of credits in films, shows, commercials, industrials, and theater. He says that it is hard work, but using his imagination to become someone else, lost in a different moment in time is an experience of which he simply can't get enough, very similar to his photography work.
