Artist's Description
Robert Houstoun Anderson (October 1, 1835 – February 8, 1888) was a West Point graduate, an infantry officer in the United States Army and later served as a Brigadier General in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War, After the war he served as the Chief of the Police for the city of Savannah for 23 years and was twice appointed to serve on the Visitor's Board of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, NY. He played an important role with reunification efforts after the war.

Lee is a native of and current resident of North Carolina. He's spent his life there caring for and serving others. For well over 30 years he has worked as a law enforcement officer and paramedic, including time as an administrator, educator, and government regulator. He has responded to multiple national disasters and served celebrities, Governors, and Presidents along the way. He is a SAG-AFTRA eligible working film/television actor with dozens of credits in films, shows, commercials, industrials, and theater. He says that it is hard work, but using his imagination to become someone else, lost in a different moment in time is an experience of which he simply can't get enough, very similar to his photography work.
