Artist's Description
It's a beautiful October day for a hike in western, North Carolina. We've hiked up the Rough Ridge Trail off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's the day after the predicted peak of color change in the leaves for the fall and nature hasn't disappointed us at all.
About Lee Darnell
Lee is a native of and current resident of North Carolina. He's spent his life there caring for and serving others. For well over 30 years he has worked as a law enforcement officer and paramedic, including time as an administrator, educator, and government regulator. He has responded to multiple national disasters and served celebrities, Governors, and Presidents along the way. He is a SAG-AFTRA eligible working film/television actor with dozens of credits in films, shows, commercials, industrials, and theater. He says that it is hard work, but using his imagination to become someone else, lost in a different moment in time is an experience of which he simply can't get enough, very similar to his photography work.
