Artist's Description

After a family dinner in downtown Washington, N.C. (affectionately known to the locals as "Little Washington"), the streets were oddly deserted and silent as we walked back to our car. We took our time, walking hand in hand while admiring the shine left from a brief rainshower. It was like a scene from a vintage romance film.

About Lee Darnell

Lee Darnell

Lee is a native of and current resident of North Carolina. He's spent his life there caring for and serving others. For well over 30 years he has worked as a law enforcement officer and paramedic, including time as an administrator, educator, and government regulator. He has responded to multiple national disasters and served celebrities, Governors, and Presidents along the way. He is a SAG-AFTRA eligible working film/television actor with dozens of credits in films, shows, commercials, industrials, and theater. He says that it is hard work, but using his imagination to become someone else, lost in a different moment in time is an experience of which he simply can't get enough, very similar to his photography work.
